SAY Media today announced the appointment of Bilal Bordie as creative lead to support its continued growth in Australia and New Zealand. Bilal will set up and head SAY Media’s ANZ creative studio working with local creative and media agencies to service SAY Media’s growing roster of clients that includes Australian-based brands Telstra, Westfield, Johnson and Johnson, Amex and Paramount Pictures.

“Bilal has done a fantastic job for our business in the UK. We’re thrilled to have him leading our new creative studio here and I am sure local clients and agencies will benefit from his experience in making their ads work harder on the web,” said Duncan Arthur, General Manager of SAY Media Australia and New Zealand.

As creative lead, Bilal will work with local brands to customise their existing creative assets into engaging advertising units to run across SAY Media’s extensive network of global and Australian sites, blogs and apps which collectively reach more than 400 million unique users per month, including eight million Australian users. These ‘Ad Frame’ units use tools such as video, mapping, polling and social media to enable brands to deliver rich, interactive brand experiences.

Bilal commented: “Australia is renowned for the vibrancy and creativity of its digital marketing and I’m looking forward to working with local brands, creative and media agencies.”

Bilal was previously creative lead at SAY Media UK, formerly VideoEgg, working with brands including BMW, McDonalds, PUMA and Nokia.
