ELLE Australia appoints new Beauty and Fitness Director from New York
Former Senior Beauty and Fitness Editor of ELLE US, Janna Johnson O’Toole, has been appointed the new Beauty and Fitness Director of ELLE Australia.
The Announcement:
Janna is relocating to Australia from New York, where she held the role of Senior Beauty & Fitness Editor of ELLE US. She previously worked at US Woman’s Day.
Janna says, “I am thrilled to join the ELLE Australia team. Globally, the ELLE brand stands for smart and inspired content, and I can’t wait to create beauty and fitness pages continuing that tradition. I’m honoured to share the power of the incredible ELLE brand with more women across the world.”
Janna will be supported in her role by Beauty & Lifestyle Associate Amy Starr, formerly Associate Editor (Beauty & Features) at Shop Til You Drop.
Justine Cullen, Editor-in-Chief of ELLE Australia, says, “Internationally, ELLE beauty pages are a unique mix of intelligent investigations and luscious visuals, treating the category as both art and science. I’m excited for this experienced team to bring that same footprint and relevant voice to ELLE Australia.”
The first issue of ELLE Australia will be on sale late September; the website, ELLE.com.au, will launch in August.
