Emotive hires Rory Pearson as director and senior creative

Content marketing agency, Emotive, has employed a new senior creative and director, Rory Pearson.

In his new role, Pearson will be responsible for idea development, content direction and production strategy, working alongside a team of five creatives.

“I am thrilled to join the Emotive team, I have been watching the agency from a distance for a few years and I’m highly impressed by their track record of producing fearless creative for clients. The opportunity to join the team, work with great clients and make epic content was too good to pass,” Pearson said in a statement.

Pearson joins the agency from his three-year stint at Varna Park where he was a director of the production house.

Throughout his career, Pearson has worked with clients including Adidas, Nespresso, Telstra, Aldi, Facebook, Ocean Spray, Continental Tyres and Stella Artois.

Andrew Cameron, creative director at Emotive, added: “Over the past few years, Emotive have pushed the boundaries creatively through our data and insights led approach to branded content creation. In doing so, we have set new benchmarks for social video engagement and client accountability. Rory brings unique skills and experience to the table that will help us continue building on this momentum.”

Emotive’s clients include Hello Fresh, Youi, Optus, Bonds and Unilever.
