Enero appoints Anouk Darling to board, replacing Russel Howcroft
Just days after the resignation of Russel Howcroft from the board of Enero, the communications and marketing group has filled the vacancy naming former Moon Communications CEO, Anouk Darling, as his replacement.
Enero chairman, John Porter, said the appointment of Darling to the role further added to the board’s experience in the areas of marketing and brand strategy.
“Anouk’s appointment brings further industry and corporate experience to our board and we look forward to her input into our group strategy,” Porter said.
Darling built a strong network of experience in the fashion industry, working with brands such as Oroton and Louis Vuitton in branding and marketing before taking on the lead marketing role at Condé Nast.
She then moved to Moon as strategy lead before rising to become CEO, and later, chair.
Enero Group CFEO, Matthew Melhuish, said Darling’s global experience would also be valuable.
“Anouk has a wealth of experience within our dynamic industry and is widely respected across it,” Melhuish said.
“She has a great strategic mind, has run a very successful agency and has worked globally with some of the world’s most recognised brands.”
Darling currently holds a directorship with Discovery Holiday Parks and recently stepped down from the board of Great Southern Rail.
why would they hire anyone other than accountants and procurement specialists for Enero’s board?
