Enigma wins full-service account for the University of the Sunshine Coast

Independent agency Enigma has secured the full-service advertising account for the University of the Sunshine Coast (USC), including strategy, creative, production and media, following a competitive tender process.

The appointment is effective immediately, with the account to be managed by Enigma’s Brisbane office with support from the strategic and creative teams in Sydney and Newcastle.

As one of the younger universities in Australia, USC is looking to grow its brand via Enigma as it expands cross its five campuses in South-East Queensland.

The win comes after Enigma named its new national CEO, John Gutteridge, who was previously the CEO of Wunderman Thompson, as well as Olivia Hannah Matthews as head of brand this month.

On the win, Enigma Brisbane managing director, Leisa Cameron, said: “It’s been a goal for our team to partner with a challenger brand like USC and when the tender hit the market, we were ready to jump. We’ll be applying our decades of experience in the higher education sector and taking a refreshed brand to market and rolling out creative campaigns for Open Days and student recruitment for 2023 enrolments.”

USC director of marketing and communications, Justin Laing, added: “Enigma are on a similar growth trajectory to USC and we can’t wait to work with them to share our story and promote the opportunities we offer communities across our regions.”
