Essential Media Communications promotes Peter Stahel to MD
Public affairs, research and communications agency, Essential Media Communications, has promoted Peter Stahel to managing director.
Stahel has been with the agency since 2015 and has been associate director for the past two years.
Agency owner and director, Peter Lewis, said the appointment was part of a renewed innovation and business strategy.
“Essential’s legacy and its future as the most respected integrated research and communications outfit for member and non-profit organisations will be strengthened under Peter Stahel’s leadership,” Lewis said.
Stahel added: “Our market focus is winning ideas for progressive Australia. To maintain and grow our position we will prioritise evidence-based communications, high-level strategic advice and expanded research offerings.”
Previously, Stahel worked in Greens’ senator Christine Milne’s office as senior media advisor. He has also worked for Cate Faehrmann, senator Bob Brown and senator Kerry Nettle.
