Ex-BMF boss Jeremy Nicholas lands new Visa digital products role
Former BMF boss Jeremy Nicholas has been promoted to vice president of digital product marketing for Visa, after joining the company in July 2013 as vice president of global football sponsorship marketing.
Australian Nicholas was the CEO of the Sydney-based creative agency for nearly three years, leaving in May 2013 having first joined the agency in October 2001. Prior to the CEO role he was the executive planning director and partner.
In his new global role, Nicholas leads the marketing for all of Visa’s digital products and emerging technologies including Visa Checkout, Apple Pay and mobile payments.
Nicholas is also responsible for developing innovative payment solutions for emerging economies in Asia, Africa and South America.
However his stint as BMF’s CEO was less stellar, as the agency lost steam following the acquisition by Photon Group, now Enero. Splitting the agency into three separate units failed to deliver growth and BMF lost its lucrative below-the-line account for Commonwealth Bank.
Nicholas was replaced by Dominic Stinton.

congratulations Jeremy.
It seems that many of the senior leaders at BMF who were deemed surplus to requirements/not good enough by the Enero regime have gone on to bigger/better things since leaving.
Which begs a few questions about those running the ship
