Ex-MediaMonks boss to head up new Clemenger BBDO production company

Clemenger BBDO has launched a new specialist production company, MADE THIS, which will be led by ex-MediaMonks boss Vinne Schifferstein.

Clemenger’s existing production agency, eg+, and its team of over 60 people has been folded into the new offering, which will focus more on craft and innovation, using automation and AI to “create smarter production techniques and content”, without losing the essential human elements to engage audiences.

Schifferstein, who founded MediaMonks in Australia and New Zealand, will lead MADE THIS as managing director.

“When I got the call from Clems and met with Dani [Bassil], I immediately knew this was the perfect fit,” she said.

“It’s all I’ve done for the Monks, but then for a well-established brand in-market, with the best creative talent in the country. You couldn’t wish for a better base to build from.”

Joining Schifferstein is Clemenger’s Iain Todd, general manager of operations, Entropico’s Ainslee Littlemore, as well as film director Jay Topping.

Littlemore joins as head of content production, while Topping will serve as director of film and technology.

Callum Smit and Tom Stephens also join the new offering as lead producer and director/editor, respectively.
