Ex-RAAF officer to produce docu-drama

The producer of docu-drama The Forgotten Anzac is to produce npther film.

Ex-RAAF intelligence officer Hugh Dolan is working with John Moore to produce a feature film about the Australian submarine AE2.

The Silent Anzac is being developed with The AE2 Commemorative Foundation (chaired by Rtd Rear-Admiral Peter Briggs) and will hopefully go into production in 2014.

The release date is planned to coincide with the anniversary of the Gallipoli landing in 2015.

John Moore has been producing award winning docu-dramas for more than 20 years, including Menzies and Churchill at War, and Monash: The Forgotten Anzac.

Dolan was an intelligence officer in Bosnia and Iraq and has written numerous books including, 36 Days: The Untold Story of the Gallipoli Landings. He also presented the TV docu-drama, Gallipoli From Above.

The director is Wain Fimeri and the script writer on AE2 is Michael Brindley.
