Ex Ten executive moves to Creative Media Productions after 10 month stint with Drive Network

Former Ten executive Darren Anderson has been appointed CEO of lifestyle program production company Creative Media Production.

Anderson was previously chief revenue officer at Drive Network, a position he took in May last year.

A spokesperson for Drive told Mumbrella: “Darren left the business in March and CRO duties are currently being covered by Drive’s CEO Chris Polites and National Sales Director Stuart Perry.”

Before joining Drive, Anderson was commercial partnership director at Network Ten. Prior to that he was group sales director at ACP Magazines.

Former CEO and executive chairman of Creative Media Productions John Hatcher said in a statement: “CM is delighted to have Darren on board as CEO. We have worked with Darren during his time at Ten and feel he is the ideal person to take the business forward. Our aim is to develop more varied content and grow the number of assets we currently produce.

It’s a very exciting phase for the business with our current slate of programs well supported by not only our valued partners but also Australian and international audiences.”

Creative Media Productions shows include Luke Nguyen’s Food Trail, The Cooks Pantry with Matt Sinclair, My Market Kitchen and A Taste of Travel.

Anderson said: “I am looking forward to joining the team at Creative Media as it has one of the most innovative production teams in the market, led by Executive Producer Michael Donnelly and experienced Producer Maddison Streefkerk. The opportunities moving forward are endless and we are all committed to taking the business to the next level. Creative Media’s ability to produce content that can be delivered across all platforms will be a focus.”
