Eyewear company Luxottica hands global media account to Zenith
Eyewear company Luxottica has handed its global media planning and buying business to Zenith.
Incumbent agency Omnicom Media didn’t re-pitch for the business.
Luxottica’s own brands include Ray-Ban and Oakley, and the company also makes frames for Prada, Chanel, Burberry and Versace.
The win comes the same week as the agency landed the media account for dairy products company Lactalis.
Mumbrella understands, Luxottica’s Australian account will be based out of Sydney with the business expected to be onboard by the start of next year.
Zenith Australia’s clients include Honda, Tennis Australia, SBS, ALDI, DiDi, Reckittss Benkiser, Gucci, Parmalat, Lactalis, Oracle, KPMG and Lite n Easy .
The agency has been approached for comment.
