Fairfax’s SEO and digital channel insights manager Annemarie Hunter joins Keep Left

Fairfax Media’s SEO and digital manager Annemarie Hunter has joined PR agency Keep Left as an SEO, content and analysis specialist.

Hunter joined Fairfax Media in 2014 as its SEO and social media manager and was promoted nearly two years later.

At Keep Left, Hunter will be responsible for working across both the agency’s PR and content marketing teams.

Keep Left launched its content production and digital marketing arm in July last year, shifting the agency towards a data-driven approach to storytelling.

In February, the agency expanded the content production team by appointing Jordan Gold as production manager for the studio.

Later in the month Gillian Yeap was appointed as the agency’s CEO.

Caroline Catterall, founder and executive director of Keep Left, said in a statement: “Search behaviour and social trends give us valuable insights into how our content and pitches
should be angled, and is adding a lot of value across our PR and content marketing clients.

“Simple things like being able to include keyword research in our media pitches has helped take our PR programs to the next level. On the content marketing side, being able to conduct in-depth
keyword strategies, technical audits and content analysis is proving highly beneficial.”

This year Keep Left has secured a suite of new clients winning Kathmandu in August, Domain Chandon and NEFF in November.

Keep Left’s clients include FIJI Water, Kathmandu, hockingstuart, Guide Dogs Victoria, Chandon and NEFF Australia.
