Fashion label partners with Warner Bros to launch True Blood-themed collection

Warner Home Video has tied up with fashion label Saint Augustine Academy on the catwalk at Australian Fashion Week with a vampire-inspired show to promote the release of True Blood season two on DVD.

The label’s designer, Alvin Manalo, used a True Blood-inspired theme for his first individual collection at the fashion event last week.

Warner Home Video’s newly appointed agency, One Green Bean, oversaw the sponsorship tie-up and is also staging a vampire-themed event at Sydney’s Kings Cross tomorrow night, named after the nightclub in True Blood, Fangtasia.

Earlier this year, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment appointed One Green Bean to handle the publicity for its new release computer games.

Roger Clarke, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group MD, said: “Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Home Video enjoy significant cross promotional opportunities. It made sense to have a single agency working across both divisions. We’ve got some really strong titles releasing this year, starting with True Blood Season 2 on DVD and Blu-ray in May.”
