Father and daughter bond over Cabot’s deck protector in latest campaign

Cabot’s timber finishes has launched its latest ad campaign to position the deck as an important landmark in every Australian home.

Created by HBT, the 30-second ad shows a father and daughter mopping the deck together and watching a movie on a projector outside.

The ad also features the little girl skipping on the deck while a woman switches off her phone to lie on a sun lounge on the deck.

David Hayes, managing director at HBT, said in a statement: “Part of the strategy behind this campaign was to use the emotional attachment that people have to their decks to separate Cabot’s even more from their competitors. Only Cabot’s could run a campaign like this.”

The ads depart from previous campaigns which focused on the functionality of Cabot’s. They will run across TV as well as an out-of-home ad campaign.
