Fifty Five 5 hires Nick Williams as head of performance marketing

Insights and data company, Fifty Five 5, has hired Nick Williams as head of performance marketing.

Williams has most recently been consulting in insights, analytics and measurement in Seattle. Previously, he was the senior vice president at Edelman Intelligence in San Francisco.

Williams has joined from the US to lead the performance marketing team

Prior to Edelman, Williams spent over a year as director of business strategy at youth publisher, Popsugar, and a year as decision science director at Nike.

Williams said of his appointment: “I feel very fortunate to join the team at Fifty Five 5, heading up the performance and tracking team, a meaty and challenging role that builds upon my recent measurement and strategy experience. It’s exciting to be a part of such a globally-minded organisation and progressive, inclusive culture and I look forward to championing the next stage of development for this important pillar of the Fifty Five 5 business.”

Darren Kemp, founding partner of Fifty Five 5, commented: “Nick will champion the next horizon of growth and innovation for our performance monitoring team.

“This part of our business continues to grow in double digits – and we now run more than 50 monitoring programs for clients in Australia and the region. We see significant opportunity to continue this momentum through a continued emphasis on innovation in integrated data analytics, powerful storytelling and creative data visualisation, as well as leveraging new data sources to diagnose the why behind performance.”

Last month, Fifty Five 5 hired Matt Pearce, from Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, as the director of its Melbourne office. In September, Dominic McCarthy also joined the agency as a director.
