Burgers are the biggest QSR category, McDonalds and Hungry Jacks have had it to themselves for a long time…so it’s a good opportunity to be a meaningful 3rd player with a superior product and experience for our guests. We have no doubt that Carl’s Jr. will soon become the ultimate destination for Sydney consumers seeking the most premium burger at affordable prices’’.

Andrew Firn, Managing Director of the CJ’s QSR Group, the Carl’s Jr. Franchisee says, “We are delighted to be bringing Carl’s Jr. to Sydney and in particular to Greenway Wetherill Park! We are excited to be providing 80+ jobs to local residents, many of whom will be starting their first job. This will be the first restaurant to open in metropolitan Sydney. We will swiftly expand as property deals have already been negotiated in 4 regional areas, with several more across the metro Sydney area. We are still actively seeking out the best sites across the state. Compared to other burger chains, we believe Carl’s Jr. will offer better quality, service, value and hospitality in a premium quick service restaurant environment. We will offer a best in class proven menu, and a quality restaurant experience, sure to succeed in the sophisticated Sydney market’’.

Carl’s Jr. is famous and successful throughout the world thanks to its business model of offering authentic, premium-quality chargrilled burgers with the convenience and price of fast food.

Sam Itaoui, Leasing Director of Greenway Wetherill Park said ‘’We feel privileged to have been chosen as the site for the first Carl’s Jr Restaurant in metro Sydney. We believe they will be an exciting addition to our many current food offerings and their authentic premium quality chargrilled burgers will be enjoyed by our many guests and make our centre a vibrant village’’.
