Fitness influencer Kayla Itsines debuts on BRW Young Rich list as technology sector dominates

Influncer Kayla Itsines, best known for her Bikini Body Guides, has made her debut on the BRW Young Rich list claiming the 51st position with a wealth of $46m.

Itsines shared her position with fiancé and CEO of her company The Bikini Body Training Company, Tobi Pearce with the 25 and 24-year-old the youngest debutants on the list.

The list was once again dominated by Atlassian co-founders Mike Cannon-Brookes and Scott Farquhar with a combined wealth of $4.68b.

The duo have topped the BRW Young Rich list a record five times.

This year’s list – which is made-up of Australia’s wealthiest self-made citizens aged 40 and under – had 22 new names on the list, which this year was dominated by the technology sector which had 27 people on the list.

Numbers three and four on the 2016 BRW Young Rich list was Dave Greiner and Ben Richardson, founders of Sydney company Campaign Monitor.

In at sixth was technology investor Simon Clausen who is involved in Chinese real estate portal Juwai.com and Freelancer.
