Flourish wins the public relations, content and social account for Avalon Airport

Independent communications agency Flourish has won the public relations, content and social media account for Melbourne’s Avalon Airport.

The agency will work as an extension of Avalon Airport’s marketing and communications team on a strategy to drive brand awareness.

Flourish creative director Phil Ceberano, Avalon Airport executive chairman David Fox and Flourish managing director, Angela Ceberano.

Flourish managing director, Angela Ceberano, said that the appointment was a great way to mark 10 years of the agency’s existence.

“This year, Flourish is celebrating 10 years in business. When I look back at what we have achieved in the last decade, this new appointment is up there as one of my proudest moments,” Ceberano said.

“The team and I are passionate about the aviation and travel industries and we are excited to be on board the next phase of Avalon Airport’s journey.

“Brands and businesses today are hungry for a more diverse offering from their agency partners. We pride ourselves in creating and delivering integrated strategies and our no-nonsense approach across PR, content and social media means we can ensure Avalon Airport is communicating its messages and stories in a strong, clear and consistent manner across multiple channels.”

David Fox, executive chairman of Avalon Airport, said: “We are pleased to welcome Flourish to the Avalon Airport family. There is no other agency like Flourish, who have already delivered excellent results for our business.

“Our priority is to provide holidaymakers with a much easier and cheaper option to travel both internationally and interstate. We have so many exciting announcements to come in the next two years and to have Flourish alongside us on this journey means we’re in very good hands.”

Last year Flourish won the public relations account for Palliative Care Victoria and the PR and social media account for Jayco Australia.

Flourish’s client list also includes Gumbuya World, ASKO Appliances, Click Clack, TEG, Kaplan Institute, Elf on the Shelf, Colliers International, Kingston Hervey Bay and Monash University.
