Former Droga5 New York creative joins Host/Havas in group role

Former Droga5 and The Monkeys creative Henry Kember has joined Host/Havas in a group-wide role that will see him oversee the agency’s creative work.

Kember returned to Sydney in January after four years in New York with Droga5. He has been freelancing for much of 2021.

In the newly-created role of group creative director, Kember will spearhead work for several high profile brands including Air New Zealand, NBA, Reckitt, Stockland, Avis Budget Group and Tassal.

Host/Havas executive creative director Jon Austin: “Henry is a creative I’ve admired for years. Not just for his incredible aesthetic and passion, but also for his ability to genuinely impact and leverage popular culture in his thinking.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to have someone of Henry’s fearsome calibre and talent join us at such an exciting time in our journey.”

Prior to joining Droga5 in 2017, Kember worked for two years in LA with Crispin Porter and Bogusky after more than five years at The Monkeys.

“It’s a fascinating, challenging time to be in advertising,” he said.
