Former iiNet marketer Wendy Walker lands top marketing job at insurer Manulife Singapore
The former Perth based CMO for internet service provider iiNet has landed the top marketing role at insurance firm Manulife Singapore as it looks to raise its profile in Asia, reports Mumbrella Asia.
Wendy Walker, who was also director of marketing at Australian telco giant Telstra and healthcare provider Bupa, will take on the new role of CMO for Manulife Singapore.
She moved to Singapore two years ago, and was regional chief growth officer for Mindshare Asia Pacific for a year and a half. It was her first role on the agency side of the business.
Naveed Irshad, president and CEO of Manulife Singapore, said Walker brings 20 years of experience into her new role, and will play an instrumental part in supporting and accelerating their growth.
He added: “We have ambitious plans ahead and assembling a world-class team with the right skills to take our business forward is essential.”
