Former Ikon MD joins Media Merchants as commercial director
Chris Ernst, former Ikon Communications managing director, has joined Media Merchants in the newly-created role of commercial director.
“The appointment of Chris is a pivotal part of our strategy,” said Media Merchants managing director, James Fitzgerald.
The role will see Ernst work closely with media director, Justine Butler, as the agency looks to take advantage of its full-service model for retailers and brands.
The so called smaller shops in Brisbane are picking up some pretty good talent. For an already overcrowded agency scene compared to advertiser size (and rumours of more very large advertisers leaving the city) its gonna start getting pretty hot under the collar.
