Ryall worked at Meta from 2020 to late 2022, where she managed the tech giant’s go-to-market launch of Facebook News and other products locally, as well as launching a number of investments and programs across ANZ.

Prior to Meta, Ryall was head of editorial and strategy at Pedestrian Group from 2019 to 2020 and vice president of digital content at US broadcaster TEGNA from 2018 to 2019. She also launched Mashable Australia as founding editor in 2014, later moving to the publication’s US office working various roles, including vice president of content strategy and platforms from 2017 to 2018.

Commenting on her new role, Ryall said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to join Gaven Morris and the brilliant team at Bastion Transform at a crucial time for businesses working at the intersection of technology, media, and content.”

“With the explosion of AI into the mainstream, the rise of new formats for younger generations and the growth of new revenue models utilising content, it’s an important moment to extend the innovative future of content and media with Bastion Transform.”
