Former Mamamia editor-in-chief Jamila Rizvi joins NewsLifeMedia as columnist

Former Mamamia editor-in-chief, Jamila Rizvi, has joined NewsLifeMedia in a dual role contributing to news.com.au and parenting website kidspot.com.au.

In her new role as a regular columnist for news.com.au, Rizvi has will provide her insight and voice to analyse the news stories everyone is talking about that week.

Rizvi finished up as editor-in-chief of Mamamia in December last year after two years in the role and almost four years with the publisher.

Prior to Mamamia, Rizvi was the deputy chief of staff for the office of minister Kate Ellis, and had also spent time as Kate Ellis’ press secretary.

NewsLifeMedia’s chief digital officer, Julian Delany, said: “Jamila is one of the best in her field and we’re really excited to have her contributing to the news.com.au and Kidspot.com.au content offering.
