Former marketer Chris Meredith launches the ‘Be More Friday’ study into attitude change at the end of the week

Former marketer and business coach, Chris Meredith, is launching a research campaign studying the difference in people’s attitudes on Fridays compared to the rest of the working week.

‘Be More Fridays’ was inspired by Meredith’s time working with creative people on both the client side and agency side, and his observation that creativity and collaboration are stronger on Fridays due to a change in people’s demeanours.

The research will consist of a range of experiments occurring throughout the course of the year, including a survey that will take place in February and studies on wellbeing, collaboration and ideation. This will culminate into a book that will be published at the end of the year containing the research findings.

Participation in the study is free and open to all.

Meredith hopes the insights gained from the research will help inform companies on how to instil a more ‘Friday-like’ culture throughout the week.

“Be More Friday is all about transforming the world of work by capturing the collaborative, creative and optimistic spirit of Fridays,” he said.

The study kicked off today with a launch event in Sydney.
