Former media executive Bob Goodge resurfaces at Nine
Former boss of Starcom MediaVest Sydney, Bob Goodge, has surfaced at Nine, joining the network as group business director.
Goodge commenced his role earlier this week, replacing Nisar Malik, who left Nine to join ARN as agency sales director. He will handle the Group M account in his new role.
Most of Goodge’s media agency career was spent at Starcom Mediavest in roles such as national investment director and managing director of Starcom Sydney. Following his exit from the agency in 2013, Goodge joined OMD West Australia, where he was managing director for just over a year.
His latest two and a half years have been spent in Sydney, as director of business development for the National Trust of Australia.
Liana Dubios, Nine’s director of sales – Sydney said Goodge was both “well respected” and “highly experienced”.
“Bob is an incredibly well respected and highly experienced industry professional, with a career spanning some 30 years,” said Dubios.
“He has worked with some of Australia’s preeminent brands and creative agencies and we look forward to the unique perspective he will bring to our business.”
A wonderful guy who is a pleasure to work with. You’ll be great Bob

‘re-surfaced’ makes it sound a little furtive and sinister!
good luck in the new job, Bob!
“Former media executive” is a bit of a rude descriptor
