Foundation reveals new media account win on Mumbrellacast

Foundation has been appointed as the media agency of record for Red Bull Australia.

Speaking on the Mumbrellacast this week, Foundation general manager, Liz Wigmore spoke about the agency’s development, which included recently retaining its relationship with Mercedes-Benz, and exclusively revealing the new client win.

“There’s a new one that we haven’t disclosed to the market yet and I’m happy to do so here today which is Red Bull Australia,” said Wigmore. “Which we’re super proud of, to have another big global iconic brand coming to our agency village, and already really fun to work on.”

“It lives up to its energy reputation in terms of the account, so far, which we’re really enjoying.”

The account was previously held by GroupM’s Mindshare, after winning the account in 2019. This comes after stablemate Hearts & Science won the energy drink brand’s account in New Zealand in September.  

The win comes after a competitive pitch, in a partnership that will encompass full service media planning and buying.
