Four agencies vie to represent death row mobile brand
Four ad agencies are on the shortlist for what could be a very short assignment.
Cummins Nitro, Leo Burnett, Campaign Palace and Moon Design are reported by B&T Today to be the finalists for 3 Mobile. That’s despite the fact that if a planned merger between the brand and Vodafone gets shareholder go-ahead next month, 3 will vanish from the market.
However, the agencies will be hoping that if they get the gig and do good work, it could give them an in with Vodafone, despite that contract only going to Clemenger BBDO last year.
In the opposite camp, Vodafone last month suspended its media pitch until the situation is resolved.
