Four expert agencies appointed by The Cheesecake Shop

Four expert creative, PR, media and marketing agencies have been appointed by food retailer The Cheesecake Shop to support its ambitious expansion and growth strategy.

Elevencom is tasked with enhancing brand and creative, Wavemaker will oversee the digital and media strategy, Aruga will take on public relations, and The Marketing Lab will support franchisees with localised initiatives.

Each will work alongside The Cheesecake Shops’ internal marketing team, which is headed by CMO Rebecca Barnes – a recent appointee.

“The appointment of these agencies will enable us to increase quality outcomes for our customers and franchisees as we continue to expand our reach across Australia and New Zealand,” Barnes said.

“As leaders in their respective industries, the agencies will act as an extension of our marketing team helping to set the brand up for our next decade of growth.

“This is an investment in long-term strategic thinking and creativity as The Cheesecake Shop evolves to engage our next generation of customers, and ensuring we have the right agencies and people leading the charge is critical.”

The company has opened 12 new stores in ANZ this financial year and plans to launch 15 more by mid-2024.

Starting with a single shop in Rozelle in Sydney in 1991, The Cheesecake Shop now has 230 cake bakeries and some 2000 employees.
