Foxtel adds BeIN Sports Connect app to sports subscription packages
Foxtel has added a new app – BeIN Sports Connect – to its sports subscription packages, adding to the Fox Sports app and WatchESPN app which are currently available.
BeIn Sports Connect will now be a part of Foxtel’s sports package, at no extra charge
The new app will offer linear streams of BeIN Sports 1, BeIN Sports 2 and BeIN Spots 3 channels, as well as access to additional games including the UEFA Champions League, the La Liga games, every UEFA Europa League game, Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1.
BeIN Sports Connect will allow Foxtel subscribers to listen to the magazine shows on smartphones, tablets, and computers.
It aims to complement Foxtel’s three BeIN Sports channels, and offer subscribers 24/7 access to the channels, alongside catch-up games and highlight shows.
Leah O’Gorman, Foxtel’s general manager, sport partnerships, said sports fans were becoming increasingly focused on mobile.
“The addition of BeIN Sports Connect to our existing sports app line up, including the Fox Sports app and WatchESPN, maximises the value of a Foxtel sports subscription and keeps fans in the game regardless of whether they’re in the living room, on vacation, or taking a sneaky look during their lunch break,” O’Gorman said.
