Foxtel announces 2021 content slate including original series The End

Foxtel has announced its entertainment lineup for 2021, headlined by new Foxtel Original series The End which is set to hit screens in February.

The comedy-drama is just one of a series of new and exclusive dramas coming to Foxtel next year, and features acclaimed actresses Frances O’Connor and Dame Harriet Walter alongside an all-star cast.

Other new dramas on the 2021 slate include Mare Of Easttown, A Teacher, Industry and Red Bird Lane, while next year will also see the reboot of Gossip Girl on Foxtel.

Programs to return for second seasons are All Rise, Prodigal Son and Batwoman, plus new seasons of Outlander, Succession, Righteous Gemstones, Insecure and Barry. Wentworth also returns for its final season, and Sydney-filmed series Mr Inbetween is back.

In sport, cricket coverage will continue over the summer and into 2021, followed by the NAB AFLW season and the Repco Supercars Championship series in February.

NRL and AFL return in March, with every game of the regular season live and ad-free, while Formula 1, A-League, Golf, NBA, NFL, Tennis, Surfing will all return.

Major box office favourites will be back, plus over 1000 premium movies available on demand. Special movie events will include the Harry Potter Movie Takeover in January, plus a collection of romantic films in February for Valentine’s Day.

In terms of reality television, The Real Housewives Of Melbourne, 90 Day Fiancè, plus the final season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, are all on the agenda.

There’s also Googlebox Australia, Love It Or List It, Grand Designs, The Great British Bakeoff, OJ & Nicole: An American Tragedy, Toger, The Vow, Coast Australia, Forensic Files II and much more.
