Millichip: Sky is “delighted to represent Foxtel exclusively”

Jane Millichip, managing director of Sky Vision, said: “Foxtel’s commitment to original programming is impressive, and we are delighted at Sky Vision to be able to represent them exclusively. The deal was borne out of a strong existing relationship and shared investment in, and exploitation of, quality entertainment.”

Ross Crowley, director of content and movies at Foxtel, said: “We look forward to working with our partners at Sky Vision, and broadening the viewership of Foxtel’s diverse slate of Australian productions, exposing our programming to a global audience.

“We are committed to producing original Australian stories for our customers and providing a wide range of content across lifestyle, drama and factual. We look forward to our successful Australian series finding new homes in other markets around the world.”

Kicking off the deal is the latest series from Donna Hay, Donna Hay: Basics to Brilliance.

New projects coming down the line include factual series Lawrie Voitier as he and his family demolish everything from heritage mansions to industrial warehouses, as well as Maggie Beer’s latest series.

Both series will be made available by Sky Vision later this year.
