Sydney-based digital product and user-experience agency, Frank Digital, has appointed Glen Jeffreys to the newly-created role of head of experience design.

Jeffreys will work on major clients such as AMP Capital, City of Sydney and Canteen.

“The whole company is excited to have Glen onboard in this newly-created role,” Matt Barbelli, Frank Digital founder and managing director, said.

Jeffreys has eighteen years’ experience working across commercial, NGO, government and higher-education sectors. Specialising in research, behaviour change and experience design, he commented that he is “thrilled” to join the Frank Digital team.

“[Frank Digital’s] rich history of user-centric design and technical innovation is outstanding and I’m looking forward to contributing to their impressive list of achievements,” he said.

“The market is evolving at an ever-increasing pace, with clients requesting complex, research-driven solutions at lower price points. The team at Frank have met this challenge head on, striking the right balance of strategic expertise and technical know-how.”

Previously, Jeffreys was head of user experience at Deepend Sydney, where he worked across multiple sectors including finance, education, government, tourism and the arts.

Frank Digital is owned by Jaywing. Barbelli said the agency’s brand proposition has shifted to a research and strategic design focus since the acquisition.

“Now with enhanced data science capabilities, proprietary data tools like Whisper and Almanac and with access to the UK’s award winning data analysts we have a very powerful offering,” he said.
