Frank PR reveals its first wins
PR agency Frank has announced its first wins since opening its doors in Australia.
The Photon Group-owned agency – which opened in Sydney in March- has revealed three wins and says it has others in the pipeline.
The company has been appointed by Instant DVD, Lind Golf and Original & Mineral® to handle their PR requirements.
Instant DVD was a competitive pitch against other agencies ahead of a relaunch for the DVD retail and rental specialist. As well as masterminding the new PR platform, Frank will provide an ongoing press office.
Ian O’Rourke, co-founder of Instant DVD said: “Frank PR provided a fresh dose of enthusiasm. We look forward to a long and successful partnership with them.”
Australian owned golf club manufacturer Lind Golf was also a competitive pitch. Frank’s remit will include supporting the launch of Lind Golf’s new website, strategic brand development, ongoing media relations and social media outreach.
And Original & Mineral is a low-chemical hair care salon range.
Myfanwy McGregor, MD of Frank PR (pictured) said: “We’re really excited about working with such a broad range of dynamic business ventures. It validates the fact that the Frank PR approach of ideas-led PR that gets people talking is resonating so well with Australian brands.”

Holy crap… Did the ‘automatic wanky quote generator’ write that?
Is Frank PR just a team of one at the moment?
We are currently a team of three but are looking to recruit at all levels. If interested, please send your CV along with a wanky quote saying why you would like a job at Frank to myf@frankpr.it
What is PR if it’s not ideas led? Let’s be frank Frank if there are no ideas in PR we are all out of a job.
Wow, I have just seen from Frank’s UK website that they’ve trade-marked “talkability”: does that mean all the other agencies in Australia will only be able to do PR that isn’t led by ideas and doesn’t get people talking?
Wow – claws out kids!
Good luck to the team at Frank. Starting a new agency is tough, so as a member of one of the larger firms in Sydney – I wish them all the best!
I worked with these guys in the UK, and they’re very good. So, judging by the negative and cat-like responses, I’d be worried also.
Are you really Michael Bolton? Like the golden locked American singer-songwriter? That’s awesome!
No, just have the same name, but coincidently do have a similar haircut and like to write 80s-like music 🙂
Yup, starting a new agency is tough. No question. And good on ’em for having a punt. But, seriously… That quote – “…ideas-led PR that gets people talking is resonating so well with Australian brands.” You dont think that’s excruciatingly uncomfortable? And a little too, umm, Alan Partridge? A tad on the wrong side of ‘we’re trying to be cleverer than we really are.’
Anyhoo… Good luck to them.
