BMF picks up Central retail brief

central logoCreative agency BMF has been appointed as lead creative agency in the $2 billion build of the Sydney’s new retail precinct at the Central Park development in Chippendale.

The appointment marks a change of direction from developers Frasers Property and Sekisui, who have worked with Frost Design on the initial stages.

The new precinct, called Central, will be at the heart of Central Park and will be developed by Frasers Property and Sekisui House. It will be 16,000 square metres across the first six levels of Jean Nouvel’s One Central Park residential tower and will include residential and commercial opportunities.

BMF’s CEO Jeremy Nicholas said, “Central is an ambitious development which will continue the revitalisation of the southern fringe of Sydney’s CBD. This area has always been BMF’s home, so it’s great to partner with Frasers on this venture “.

BMF is a near neighbour with Central Park, having opened up BMF Studios in the nearby Chippendale Creative precinct last year.
