Mediacom heads Berocca Twist ‘N’ Go campaign

Berocca Twist N Go campaignMedia agency MediaCom has taken the lead on a campaign for Berrocca. The Twist ‘N’ Go campaign, also featured agencies captiv8 and The Splice Boys to create an experiential campaign designed for extension to online and social media.

The campaign took place at The Quiksilver Pro on the Gold Coast  and involved a purpose built multi camera array of 48 DSLRs within the so-called “Berocca Bubble”, a uniquely shaped Berocca bubble in the shape of the Twist ‘N’ Go bottle top

The Twist ‘N’ Go cam gave event goers the opportunity to appear in their own Matrix-style video set against the backdrop of the ‘perfect wave’. From a camera control centre, they were able to upload their video to the Berocca Australia YouTube channel and pulled into a custom built Facebook app hosted on Berocca’s Australia Facebook page. From there users were then notified through  SMS and email enabling them to share their wave and tag friends in the video.

“Berocca Twist ‘N’ Go is such a unique product in the way the tablet falls into the water, once the cap is twisted. I not only wanted to sample the product but leave our users with a unique experience that matched the product, that they could share beyond trailing the product and enhance not only their own day but their friends within their social communities as well,” said Nicole Bradley, Bayer Brand Manager.

This campaign is also being supported with digital media across the Quiksilver website as well as Mi9, Yahoo and Spotify.

Berocca Twist ‘N’ Go is an extension of Berocca Performance brand aimed at the younger audiences who want to be able to have Berocca on the go. Berocca’s objective is to increase the trial of the drink by communicating the ‘enhancement’ benefit on the go.
