Frost*collective adds two hires to its brand team

Frost*collective has added two hires to its brand team.

The announcement:

Frost*collective is excited to announce two new key hires to our specialist Brand team.

With Natalie Smith joining as head of brand, and Georgie Winton as client service director, the team is set to bring international experience driven by strategy, innovation, and brand activation to the globally recognised strategic creative group.

Natalie Smith has been creating effective and impactful work for clients across categories from technology to fashion with a focus on CX experience, R/GA, and digital acumen for over fifteen years.

From repositioning SaaS products to launching mobile phones, rebranding healthcare technology to designing campaigns for new alcohol variants, Natalie creates original and compelling solutions for brands through human insight and an innate understanding of the human experience, and where the cultural zeitgeist will shift next.

With experience across markets and categories, Natalie is also a versatile and pragmatic thinker who values brands and creativity without sacrificing efficiency and effectiveness. She’s worked at some of the world’s most respected agencies, including Ogilvy, Leo Burnett and R/GA London.

In terms of leading global brands, Natalie has worked with Samsung, Unilever, Canva, Beats by Dre, Tiffany, L’Oreal and Heineken in projects that have ranged from strategy to experience design, campaigns to social media, website development to employee brand experience.

Smith, said, “Modern branding should encompass business strategy, innovation, and real-time activation to create living, breathing identities. The Frost*collective Brand team is set up to think beyond the verbal and visual identity. We design brands that come to life in complex digital environments and through experiences, and influence everything from service design to employee and advocacy experience.

“We’re also passionate about change and designing brands and businesses for a better future. That means deep consideration of every aspect of what we do; from responsible packaging to ethical research and meaningful, and considered product development. Against the current context of climate change, every brand has a responsibility to do better, thinking of their impact on generations to come.”

Natalie has spoken at Vivid Ideas (2019) and Semi-Permanent’s National Geographic Incubator (2019) and was part of Antler VC’s 2020 cohort.

Georgie Winton brings over 20 years international experience to Frost*collective with a portfolio of work across some of the world’s biggest brands and large-scale businesses, including; Audi, GSK, Westfield and IAG, as well as a range of Government organisations and NGOs. Her contribution ensures the client experience is as exceptional as the work across sectors including Automotive, Retail, Banking, FMCG, Insurance, Alcohol, Government, non-profit organisations and more. Her dynamic approach focuses on relationships, bravery, strategy, and passion.

“The idea that we can impact audience perception and behaviour by creating work that resolves a tension, whether it’s culture, category or their own behaviour, is something I never tire of. Now more than ever, building and nurturing an amazing culture and client-focused team who are inspired to create the type of work that gets businesses, and their brands, extraordinary results is a huge focus,” said Winton.

Georgie’s international wins and accolades include; leading the transition of the Scentre Group (Westfield AUNZ) into whiteGREY earlier this year, being the WPP GSK Lead across all WPP agencies, and winning the GSK Digital Business in 2020. She also has an Executive Producer credit on the feature length documentary Machine, created by Audi, produced while working as the Agency Lead at MullenLowe on Audi Australia creative, content and digital business.

Together with Founder, CEO and ECD, Vince Frost, group creative director, Ant Donovan, and creative director, Richard Davies, these women are bringing a powerful set of experiences and insights as well as a dynamic new energy to Frost*collective.

“We are so lucky to have Nat and Georgie join us. They are passionate, dynamic women, and the best in the business and already making significant positive impact with our clients and our culture.” said Frost*collective founder, CEO & ECD Vince Frost.
