The future of podcasts: Dressage
And so to the ABC’s inaugural OzPod conference in Sydney, bringing together hundreds of the best and brightest in the world of Australian podcasting.
Dr Mumbo was particularly impressed with the honesty of ABC Radio’s head of content, Linda Bracken, when asked what the “niche” passion podcast she’d like to do was.
“Dressage,” she replied much to the surprise of the audience.
“And even though I’m commissioning editor for ABC Radio I don’t seem to be able to get traction with it,” she admitted.
The biggest trick will be to find the right commentators who can manage the menage 🙂
Yeah, some people just don’t feel comfortable in that arena.
At least Dressage has more action and movement than cricket!!!
