Gavin Selkirk named APAC vice president of CX platform Medallia
Customer experience agency Medallia has appointed Gavin Selkirk as the vice president and general manager of APAC.
In his new position, Selkirk will be responsible for leading Medallia’s accelerated growth in Asia-Pacific.
Selkirk has extensive experience in the tech industry. Prior to joining Medallia, he spent four-and-a-half years at BMC software as the president of Asia Pacific and Japan. Previously, Selkirk was the CEO of Fujitsu Asia.
Medallia’s SVP of global industry sales, Bill Schuh, said in a statement: “We’ve seen enormous demand in Asia Pacific for Medallia’s customer experience platform. As we step up our investment, Gavin’s experience and industry knowledge will be a great benefit.

Selkirk said that the company’s rapid growth and experience attracted him to the new role.
“Medallia’s market-leading experience management practice and rapid growth were the main factors in my decision to join the team. The customer base represents some of the leading brands in Asia, a dominant footprint in hospitality, and a growing base of customers in retail and other industry segments,” Selkirk said.
Medallia is responsible for Optus’ experience management program in APAC.
