GEN8 announce generative AI training program

GEN8 – generative AI training experts – are rolling out a three week upskilling program to help knowledge workers make full use of generative AI.

The announcement:

Generative AI strategy and training consultancy GEN8 is launching a new three week online generative AI upskilling program aimed at helping knowledge workers to take advantage of the new wave of technologies now available to businesses.

The Generative AI Navigator (GAIN), has been developed to educate participants on how to use tools like ChatGPT strategically, effectively and responsibly and is designed to appeal to people in a knowledge-based role wanting to get started with GenAI.

Tim Sharp, founder, and principal at GEN8, has excellent credentials in Generative AI training, developing and launching the AI for Marketers course for the Scott Galloway-founded online training platform Section.

Sharp explains: “Generative AI is revolutionising productivity, prompting millions to shape a new knowledge economy. Today, early adopters are experiencing heightened efficiency, but by 2030, technologies like Generative AI will redefine the traditional workday1. However, Generative AI is still emerging, holding both promise and risk, with limited avenues for getting started.

“Our aim with GAIN is to give people not just the skills to use these tools, but the knowledge to understand how they work which will help them to assess the safety and effectiveness of new tools as they come to market.”

The interactive course is built around three hands-on workshops where participants will learn to use large language models, build virtual assistants and explore emerging use cases like image/video/avatar generation. With a key focus on responsible AI, including intellectual property, privacy, socioeconomic impact.

GEN8 provides generative AI strategy, training and governance advisory to complex teams across APAC; turning new ways of working into new cutting-edge advantages. This latest offering aims to make world-class upskilling accessible to individuals and larger companies alike.

Key features of the program include:

1. Built around interactive workshops: GAIN comprises three interactive, hands-on workshops, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience.

2. Flexibility in participation: Participants can join live sessions or catch up on demand, providing flexibility to accommodate various schedules.

3. Shareable Badge: Upon completion, participants will earn a certifiable badge, validating their newfound expertise in generative AI.

For those interested in joining GAIN, there are two options:

1. Tailor for Business: Ideal for larger teams and clients looking for a customised program.

2. Individual or Smaller Team Intake: Join an upcoming intake for individual professionals or smaller teams.

The intake cost is set at $599 AUD per participant, with a 10% discount available for teams of five or more. The program fee excludes ChatGPT Plus ($20 USD).
