Genesis Fitness Clubs urges Aussies to beat the bulge with $1m membership giveaway
Health club Genesis Fitness is giving away $1m worth of free memberships as part of a campaign to encourage Aussies to get fit and lose weight.
The campaign, devised by Melbourne’s The Sphere Agency, will see 700 12-month memberships given away during September and October to those who can argue why they deserve the membership the most.
Entrants need to write 100 words on why they are most deserving of the membership.
The campaign is to run online, on radio and in print.
“In Australia we’ve seen a troubling trend of people suffering from obesity and body issues while at the same time more and more Australians are struggling financially and unable to afford gym memberships. This giveaway is our chance to ensure that the people who need the most help in achieving their fitness goals, get the chance they deserve,“ said Genesis marketing manager, Danielle Flood.
