GHO appoints Peter Ogden as creative director

Digital agency GHO has named Peter Ogden creative director.

Ogden’s appointment is effective immediately. He previously spent a year freelancing as a creative director.

Prior to joining GHO he held a number of creative director and executive creative director roles with his career spanning BWM Dentsu, JWT and most recently Enigma Communications.

Ogden said of his appointment: “I’m stoked to join GHO. Having worked in a wide range of agencies over the years, from smaller independents to larger networks, I can see that their approach to helping clients navigate uncertainty is truly unique. There’s an infectious sense of momentum about the place that’s great to be a part of.”

In March, GHO appointed Hamish Stewart as creative partner, becoming part-owner of the business after two years at the agency.

Stewart said Ogden’s appointment reflected the agency’s philosophy of ‘work with people you like’.

“With a background in design, art direction, photography and copywriting, Pete brings a wealth of experience to the role. As our work encompasses more and more of the brand experience, his diverse skill set will be invaluable. He epitomises our philosophy, ‘Life’s short. Work with people you like’,” Stewart said.

Managing partner, Eithne McSwiney, added: “Testament to that is that many of the best people we hire are those we have worked with before. Having worked with Pete previously, I know how talented he is, and I’m looking forward to what’s to come.”
