Gizmodo editor announced as Finder’s global reviews editor
Tegan Jones has joined Finder as global reviews editor, starting on 16 August.
Jones joins Finder from Pedestrian Group, where she has held the role of editor at Gizmodo Australia since August 2018.
Prior to the merger of Allure Media and Pedestrian TV by Nine, Jones was deputy editor at Gizmodo Australia. Previous to that role, she held the title of commercial editor – Gizmodo, Kotaku, Lifehacker and Business Insider.
Jones is also a co-host of the technology podcast, Queen of the Drone Ages.
Nick Broughall, publisher, global reviews at Finder said: “I’m extremely excited to have Tegan join us in the Reviews team at Finder. Her passion for tech and her experience testing and reviewing products made her the perfect person for the job.”
Broughall formerly worked at Gizmodo as editor more than 10 years ago.
Of his time there, Broughall said: “You come out changed – a stronger, smarter version of yourself with an understanding of what works and what doesn’t and a passion to succeed – and these values are core to Finder’s mission.”
Jones took to Twitter to comment on her appointment.
So the news is out!

I’m super excited to join such a great team and to reunite with some incredible former colleagues.

Jeremy Cabral, Finder’s co-founder and chief operating officer, said: “At Finder we’re on a mission to help people all over the world make better financial decisions every day and we’re excited to have Jinnee leading our Southeast Asian operations as we accelerate growth plans in the region.”
Lim said on her appointment: “I look forward to being part of Finder’s continued growth as it becomes a brand that consumers in Asia come to know and love – and I have no doubt they will.”
