Goulburn Valley Peaches ditches the oarsome foursome in new ads by Host

Host has launched a series of ads for Goulburn Valley Peaches that see long-time brand icons ‘the Oarsome Foursome’ ditched.

With the introduction of the tagline ‘Not everyone’s happy’, various food items conspire against Goulburn’s ‘perfect peaches’.

Kacey Quinn, senior brand manager, Goulburn Valley, commented: “Many people forget that our packaged peaches are real Australian grown peaches, picked when perfectly ripe and can be enjoyed for occasions beyond dessert. We wanted a modern and flexible platform that could remind people of all these things”.

David Smith, creative director at The Jamboree, noted: “The Oarsome Foursome always had a fun and quirky personality. We used this to create simple, funny, well-told stories that are a bit of a rarity in the world of packaged goods.  The campaign should have real stand-out.”
