GP Y&R and Liquid Animation take out Best of Show at Asian Phoenix Film Awards
George Patterson Y&R Brisbane and Liquid Animation have taken out Best of Show at the Asian Phoenix Film Awards for their campaign for the Electoral Commission of Queensland.
The awards, which celebrates TV advertising in the region, saw the Your Vote Means Something campaign selected Best of Show: Best Advertising Commercial of the Year (animation).
Only one other Best of Show gong went to Leo Burnett Singapore and Dragonsgate Studio for their Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports work.
Other Australian winners included a silver for Publicis Mojo and Cherub Pictures for Procter & Gamble’s The Beatbox Choir ad; and Boiler Room and Renegade Films which won silver for the Department Of Justice’s Your Move campaign.
Judges for the awards included Droga5 editor David Cole, The Roly Poly Picture Company director/cinematographer Ron Johanson, and The Sweet Shop Sydney MD George Mackenzie.
The Asian Phoenix Film Awards is organised by advertising & marketing industry title, AdAsia.
