Greg Burns returns to Nova’s summer breakfast show
Nova has announced Greg Bruns will once again host the network’s summer breakfast show and will be joined by Matt De Groot and Katie Hill.

GREG BURNS KEEPS LISTENERS ENTERTAINED OVER SUMMER
Greg Burns will keep listeners entertained when they wake up, while Nova’s breakfast teams in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide take a break over Christmas, from Monday 11 December.
Summer Breakfast with Greg Burns, joined by journalists Matt De Groot from Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa breakfast show and NOVA Entertainment’s Katie Hill, will cover all the topical, entertainment and music news that listeners expect in breakfast.
An accomplished broadcaster and stand-up comic, Greg is already well-known to Nova listeners in mornings and breakfast audiences will remember him from filling in for Fitzy & Wippa during the spring break and over Christmas last year.
Greg Burns said, “I’m so excited to be taking control of Nova breakfast at the best time of the year, with a fantastic crew, and to announce Nova’s latest Red Room with an artist who was responsible for the single greatest gig I’ve EVER been to in my life…beyond excited.”
Hailing from Capitol Radio in the UK, Greg joined the Nova Network in July 2016 and is heard in mornings on Nova in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. Greg is also an award-winning comedian, who was recently part of the televised line-up for Foxtel’s Just For Laughs Australia: Live, performed a season at the internationally recognised Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2017 and is a regular on the Sydney stand-up scene.
Summer breakfast with Greg Burns will be heard from 11 to 15 December from 6am to 9am, returning for three weeks after Christmas from 2 January to 19 January from 7am.
Nova Adelaide’s Lewis & Lowe with Hayley Pearson will return on Monday 15 January at 6am while Sydney’s Fitzy & Wippa and Melbourne’s Chrissie, Sam & Browny will return on Monday 22 January at 6am.
