Griff to screen at Berlin

Leon Ford’s film debut Griff the Invisible will have its European premiere in the Berlin International Film Festival’s ‘Generation’ sidebar in February.

“It’s been pretty overwhelming to see the way audiences are embracing Griff so warmly and enthusiastically all over the world – first at its world premiere at Toronto, then at early preview screenings in Australia and now we get the chance to reveal the film to a European audience at the Berlin Film Festival, just before its theatrical release in cinemas across Australia,” said Ford.

Starring Ryan Kwanten and Maeve Dermody, Griff the Invisible was developed through Screen Australia’s Indivision Script Lab in 2008. It is produced by Nicole O’Donohue, with executive producers Jan Chapman and Scott Meek.

The film will be released in Australia by Transmission Films in March.

The Berlin International Film Festival will run from 10-20 February.
