Grin Creative launches free quarterly travel magazine

Grin Creative is launching a new magazine for Melbourne’s Avalon Airport, in line with the launch of the new international terminal and the arrival of Air Asia.

The quarterly magazine, titled Avalon Inbound Outbound, will be available for any passengers flying internationally on Air Asia or domestically on Jetstar.

Avalon Airport’s Magazine will launch later this year

It will include features on destinations around Asia and Australia as well as places to see, stay and eat. It will also include news and events, celebrity interviews and information about Avalon Airport.

Air Asia will use Avalon Airport to provide twice daily flights to Kuala Lumpur.

Justin Jamieson, director of Grin Creative and publisher of Get Lost Magazine, said it was a pleasure to add the magazine to the company’s publishing arm.

“We have a team of experienced travel writers and editors who will provide quality content on the array of destinations that Air Asia and Jetstar fly to as well as information on the developments. Our focus as always will be on engaging and inspiring readers,” Jamieson said.

Grin Creative is the publisher of National Geographic Traveller, Get Lost, and soon-to-launch Luxury Escapes Magazine.

Justin Giddings, CEO of Avalon Airport, said the time was right for the airport to have its own publication.

“Our domestic flights are filling up, and we go international from December 5. What better time to launch a new publication than now? We believe that travel should be both comfortable and affordable, and when people fly with us they save precious time and money. We’re thrilled to now provide a forum to showcase all the experiences that they can spend those savings on,” Giddings said.

Avalon Inbound Outbound will launch in late 2018.
