GrowthOps appoints Anthony Damianakis as commercial content director

Marketing and technology holding group GrowthOps has announced the appointment of Anthony Damianakis as commercial content director.

Damianakis comes from content agency Medium Rare where he was head of video. Prior to this he was director of commercial partnerships for post-production company, Post Op, and its production arm Klinik TV.

Ashton Ward, GrowthOps partner and head of content for Brisbane, said the company would benefit greatly from the creative and commercial experience Damianakis will bring to the role.

“We are delighted to welcome Ant to the team as he takes on the newly created role of commercial content director. He is a highly experienced producer, with a long-history of creating and commercialising successful film content for brands and television,” Ward said.

“Ant’s blend of creative and commercial nous make him the ideal addition to the GrowthOps team as we explore more opportunities in longer-form film content.”

Damianakis said he was looking forward to working with the GrowthOps team and creating new content.

GrowthOps has experienced a busy start to 2019 with Brisbane-based creative agency, Khemistry, rebranding as GrowthOps after partnering with the company in 2018 and a $48m loss reported in February.
