Sydney PR firm, The D’Arcy Partnership, has won a three-way pitch to work with global and local charity Habitat for Humanity.

“We’re really looking forward to working with The D’Arcy Partnership,” said Jo Brennan, chief executive, Habitat for Humanity Australia.  “Their presentation was impressive with a clear understanding of our brief, and on top of that they have a great team.”

Habitat for Humanity builds decent and affordable housing for low-income families around the world.  The organisation has built over 350,000 houses globally, providing more than 1.75 milion people in 3,000 communities with shelter.  A new Habitat for Humanity home is built somewhere in the world, every 24 minutes.

“Habitat for Humanity Australia has a great story to tell,” said Gail D’Arcy.  “In providing homes for people they are transforming lives of families in numerous countries, and they offer the opportunity for Australians to truly get their dirty and make a difference by participating in home builds here and around the world.”

The win is the company’s first partnership with a not-for-profit organisation.  The company’s other clients include Navman, Royal Caribbean Cruises, Air Canada, Boeing, The Walt Disney Company and NSW Trustee & Guardian.
