Haleon appoints ANZ marketing director as Cate Sefton moves on

Global consumer healthcare business, Haleon – parent brand of Panadol, Voltaren, and Centrum, among others – has appointed a marketing director for Australia and New Zealand.

Announced on Tuesday, Nagraj Iyer takes on the role after nearly three years with the company as its marketing director for Japan and Korea.

He has over 15 years of experience with Haleon, spreading across sales, strategy, and marketing.

“I am thrilled to take on this new role with Haleon Australia and New Zealand leading the marketing of many trusted household brands such as Panadol, Voltaren, Advil, Sensodyne, Centrum and Polident to name but a few,” Iyer said of his appointment.

“With a strong focus on innovation and people development, I am committed to building on Haleon’s success and delivering sustainable growth for our brands and customers in this exciting region.”

Haleon Australia and New Zealand’s general manager, Anish Patel, added: “We know that Australian and New Zealand health consumers are some of the most sophisticated in the world.

“Through our iconic brands, scale and talent, we have the potential to transform the self-care industry in this market and deliver more for consumers and our customers. With his global perspective and wealth of experience, Nagraj will be instrumental to our success.”

He succeeds Cate Sefton, who spent the last five years in the role, and 21 years in total with the brand across two tenures.

Haloen extended its thanks to Sefton for her contributions to the business, and wished her “all the best as she pursues new opportunities”.
